The thrill and sheer speed of racing downhill by the natural pull of the earth is a feeling that tempts and beckons for all people looking for a little extra excitement. Following the flow of the growing trend of gravity bikes, two-wheeled downhill racers with no pedals or chains, Tange tubing company has collaborated with big names such as designer Jaycee and the engineering experts at Antidote Solution to produce a beast on the slope: the Yasajiro Gravity Speedbike. The rider is able to stretch out along the beautifully welded black frame during the ride, and the 24” wheels from Asterion reflect the bike’s influences from the 50cc ultra-lightweight class of Grand Prix motorcycle racers of the thirty years past. The lengthened frame of the Yasajiro Gravity Speedbike lends it an elegance to accompany the impressive stats. With the ability to reach speeds of up to 130 km/hr, the Speedbike also features the highest quality brakes from Shimano and Subrosa grips from Spank because even the wildest ride has to come to an end. The first rider of the bike was Serge Nuques, a famous French motorcyclist with a passion for exhilaration and innovation. The question that remains is this: who’s next?
