A new Zenith Pilot watch inspired by blueprints and the brand’s iconic aviation watches.

Zenith has been making beautifully crafted watches from 1865, including some truly iconic timepieces worn by pioneering aviators. The company’s Pilot Type 20 “Blueprint” watch celebrates that legacy with a bold but refined design. Featuring a two-part blueprint dial, the watch reveals some of the production plans used to create the watches. The watch also comes with a vintage-style 45mm brushed steel case. In a nod to the brand’s heritage, the engraved case back boasts the Zenith aviation instruments logo.

Inspired by 19th and early 20th century engineering plans as well as classic Zenith aviation watches, the new Pilot 20 Blueprint features a double layered dial. The imaginative design reveals both precise calculations and design details. Made in-house for 25 years, the Elite automatic movement has an ultra-thin silhouette and comes with 126 components. It offers a power reserve of 50 hours and has a frequency of 28,800 VpH (4 Hz). Finally, a blue leather strap with a titanium pin buckle completes the design.

Made in a limited-edition of only 250 pieces, the Pilot Type 20 Blueprint watch is available at Zenith shops, in the brand’s online store, and at selected retailers. The exclusive timepiece is a great collector’s item and costs $8,200. Photographs© Zenith Watches.
