The collab between adidas Originals and Tokyo-based Hender Scheme refines three iconic sneaker silhouettes. Launched at the beginning of September, the limited edition collection features a new take on the popular Superstar, NMD R1, and MicroPacer models. The range aims to explore the relationship between lifestyle footwear and performance, paying homage to traditional craftsmanship at the same time. Boasting tan leather uppers, the handmade sneakers display impressive attention to detail. The light and soft colors allow every feature to stand out, from the stitching variations to the embossed or debossed accents.
The EVA midsole also boasts the tan colorway in a darker tone. A splash of white on the midsole adds a touch of contrast to the NMD R1 and MicroPacer, while the Superstar silhouette features only white stitching. Celebrating artisanal skill and iconic design, every model in the adidas Originals X Hender Scheme range is a collector’s item, if ever there was one.
