A modern bag collection designed with technical fabrics in monochrome palettes.

Launched by Chrome Industries as part of their Fall 2020 line, the Tonal Collection recreates the brand’s heritage bags in elegant monochrome palettes. As practical as ever, the new bag collection boasts tone on tone styling in shades of Navy or Ranger. However, the bags also keep their technical, durable fabrics along with their function-focused design. The standout of the line, the Barrage backpack can handle just about anything thanks to the durable, 100% waterproof fabric, welded waterproof liner, and nylon shell that resists abrasions.

Perfect for adventures in natural or urban settings, the two-layer backpack features a roll-top closure and side compression straps as well as extra storage. Apart from a webbed cargo net at the front, it also comes with two exterior pockets and two internal pockets. Likewise, the Citizen Messenger Bag maximizes function with a 17’’ laptop compartment and accessory pockets protected with a waterproof liner. This bag also puts a focus on safety. It features reflective cargo straps as well as daisy chain loops for attaching a lock or lights.

The Tonal Collection also includes the Ziptop Waistpack for everyday essentials; the Mini Metro, a mini version of brand’s original messenger bag; and the lightweight and compact Kadet Sling Bag. The prices in the Tonal Collection range from $80 for the sling bag to $160 for the backpack. Photographs© Chrome Industries.
