A collection of modular eyewear that offers maximum flexibility and style.

Based in Como, an hour north of Milan, MA-DE Studio is an award-winning Italian design firm that focuses on product design, interior design solutions, concepts, and brand identity projects. For one of their latest projects, they collaborated with Italian travel bag company Appercase. It’s not the first time the studio has worked with the brand, but Clip is their first ever eyewear collection. Elegant and modern, it features an innovative modular design that allows the user to change different parts as needed.

The Clip series features a custom side-spring system with easy-release clamps that provide an easy way to mix-and-match lenses, frames, temples, and even node pads. This opens up a huge range of customization options, as customers can choose between different colors, shapes, and materials. For example, the lenses come in solid or mirrored designs. Gradient color are also available for those who prefer a more creative style. Thanks to the modular build, the user can change a pair of glasses or sunglasses to complement different outfits or occasions. The Clip collection comprises both optical glasses and sunglasses. All of them come with elegant packaging: clean white boxes with dark gray lettering and textured black cases. Photographs© MA-DE Studio.
