A vibrant and creative custom build.
Commissioned by Bonesheart to build a bike for a custom motorcycle lottery, deBolex created a gorgeous build. This custom Yamaha MT-10 bike is bolder and more vibrant than other motorcycles completed by the workshop. It doesn’t feature mostly handcrafted metal components for the bodywork and it also boasts an eye-catching color. At the same time, it showcases the team’s talent and range. Using a brand-new Yamaha, the workshop removed parts to create a slimmer build, incorporating shaped aluminum panels into the bike.
At the front, the custom Yamaha MT-10 features a new headlight nacelle as well as recessed LED lights. A smoked windscreen and custom mudguards are also included. The back features a completely integrated taillight, turn signals, and license plate holder for a cleaner look. In terms of power, the bike comes with a 98cc inline-four engine which produces 158 hp and a bit under under 85 ft-lb of torque.
Creative details include the in-house upholstered Alcantara leather and vinyl seat, which conveniently opens when needed to provide access to electronics. Other features include the orange paint, chosen by Bonesheart to remind of a McLaren 570, and the 1/1 logo which marks the bike as one of deBolex’ ‘One of One’ series. Photographs© Tom Horna.
