The Fellow Carter Mug

View all 10 Photos

A practical and cleverly designed travel mug that doesn’t sacrifice your coffee drinking experience.

When producers of coffee makers, kettles, and handy accessories are also coffee lovers, their designs stand out from the crowd. Take the San Francisco-based brand Fellow, for example. After launching the Duo Coffee Steeper in 2013, they expanded their collection with some beautifully designed products, including the Duo Coffee Grinder and the Stagg Pour-Over Kettle. Now, the brand has introduced the perfect coffee mug for commuting, home offices, or traveling. The Fellow Carter Mug keeps the balance between practical features and clever design. Put more simply, this mug enhances the coffee drinking experience in every way.

The mug features a “true taste” ceramic coating that keeps odors, oils, and metallic notes away from brewed coffee. The thin lip draws inspiration from a Cabernet glass to feel comfortable to use and to also deliver coffee directly to the user’s taste buds. Slim and rounded, the Fellow Carter Mug fits snugly into your hand or a standard cup holder. It also takes up minimal space in a travel bag or backpack. The mug comes with a handy snap-in splash guard to keep every single drop inside the container while riding a bike, for example. The leak-proof seal also locks securely to make it easy to put even a full mug inside a bag and not worry about spills.

Made with double wall, heat-lock insulated stainless steel, the Fellow Carter Mug keeps contents hot for up to 12 hours. This quality build also ensures liquids stay cold for up to 24 hours. The mug comes in three sizes, of 8 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz, with prices starting at $27,50. Finally, the versatile color options range from Matte Black and Matte Gray to Matte White.
