Frumpy Chair by Jamie Wolfond

Chillaxing to the beat in your ear plugs, you got shades on, it’s nighttime and your shoes are styling bright white in the moonlight. Then you pull up your hoody before entering the scene and confidently strut. Way funky, too swank, so cool the Frumpy Chair by Jamie Wolfond has its own way of doing things to get attention. They are made of left over plastic particles that would have otherwise been waste. The young artist built a quick mold out of fiberglass reinforced silicone sheet using a pattern and a regular stapler. After filling with the small pieces of low-density polyethylene plastic, he seals with a few more staples, and pops it in a traditional pizza oven for about 30 minutes.  The design comes after the heat makes the chair manipulative. With a few bricks and some helpful stands, the seat forms to its own destiny.  They are absolutely one of a kind and totally fun.
