Grovemade, a leading designer of handcrafted wooden and leather accessories, today introduced a desk collection made from natural materials. Bringing order to workspaces and providing design continuity, Grovemade’s desk collection is a projection of personality. Additionally, the small, ergonomic adjustments the desktop collection provides can improve neck pain, back pain, and wrist discomfort.
“We wanted to craft something unlike anything we’ve ever done in the past and we achieved this by breathing life into our workspace by introducing natural materials to every day desk accessories,” says Ken Tomita, Grovemade’s co-founder. “Your desk is a projection of your personality and the Grovemade team believes we should all project our best!”
Grovemade’s ergonomic Monitor Stand, crafted for laptops and standing desks, elevates monitors by four inches to improve posture. The stand can support up to 200 lbs. of weight due to the glue lamination process that provides extra strength. It features furniture grade craftsmanship, resulting in a stable base. In addition, the Monitor Stand creates extra space for other desk accessories, such as Grovemade’s Keyboard Tray, and comes equipped with cork feet to protect desks. The Keyboard Tray doubles as a storage space that holds business cards, pens, and up to three AA batteries. It is available in domestic Eastern Hardrock Maple and Black Walnut in combination with an aluminum bottom and cork feet to protect desks. The Keyboard Tray is crafted to compliment the iconic profile of the Mac keyboard and features an ergonomically designed, slim profile.
Grovemade’s Mouse Pad is made from Eastern Hardrock Maple or Black Oregon Walnut in combination with domestic vegetable tanned leather that ages gracefully with time and features a cork base. Each Mouse Pad is CNC-machined resulting in a convenient pen holder.
The Pen Pot is handcrafted from domestic Eastern Hardrock Maple or Black Walnut and is reinforced with an aluminum insert. Each Pen Pot has a cork base to protect desks. The Pen Pot retails at the introductory price of $29.
Grovemade’s Desk Lamp is available in domestic Eastern Hardrock Maple or Black Walnut in combination with either a 30 watt radio tube bulb or a half mirror globe bulb. Each Desk Lamp features a red cloth-wrapped cord and porcelain socket, in addition to a cork base. The Desk Lamp retails at the introductory price of $79.
Grovemade’s Planter is available in two desk sizes, tall or short, and is available in two wood species, domestic Eastern Hardrock Maple and Black Walnut. Each Planter features an aluminum insert detail and a cork base. Grovemade recommends planting succulents in any of the desk planters. The Planter retails at the introductory price of $29.
Last but not least the Catch All is a handcrafted desk tray made from domestic Eastern Hardrock Maple or Black Walnut and features a cork base. It is designed to hold small desk accessories, such as paper clips and push pins.
