A limited-edition of refined, freestanding lights.

New York-based designer Bec Brittain has a penchant for creating sophisticated lighting using premium materials. Her designs bring together simple shapes and clean lines in striking and creative as well as dynamic compositions. Following on the footsteps of the Crane series, the Kiwari Crane lights features the same blend of contrasting materials, but adds a twist to the original concept. Now, the straight borosilicate glass tubes become more graceful as they curve above the bronze structures. The freestanding Bec Brittain lighting boast a bronze base which provides support for the curved glass tubes. The textures also complement each other, giving the eye-catching shapes a new dimension.

Sculptural, dynamic, and refined, the Kiwari Crane designs create a focal point in any interior. They look more like a modern work of art than a practical object, effortlessly melding style and function. The series made its debut at the Patrick Parrish Gallery booth at Design Miami. If you want to buy one, keep in mind that the series is available in an extra-limited edition of only seven units. Photographs© Bec Brittain.
