After one year of development and 20 prototypes, Layer Design unveils its latest product, Offset. Designed for male grooming accessories start-up Follicle & Limb, the ingenious shaving brush system provides the experience of traditional barber shops in a sleek, distinctly contemporary form. Function and a minimalist aesthetic blend in a product that offers a fresh take on the classic male grooming kit. “Offset is a great example of how at LAYER we partner with forward thinking and ambitious individuals who embrace the idea of creating products that can disrupt a traditional marketplace with smart functionality to tune into a new lifestyle trend,” explains Benjamin Hubert, director of Layer Design.
Offset comes with three parts. A premium quality shaving brush and a case which separates into two sections – a stand for drying the brush and a tray for the razor. Made of machined anodized aluminum, the system boasts a tactile and rust-resistant surface which is also easy to clean. The flared section at the top of the brush handle ensures a more comfortable grip, while the hidden magnetic system maintains the clean look of the design.
