A collection of confident forms, smart details, and a few offbeat surprises
This new collection from onn CONCEPT feels like it was made by people who care about furniture—but don’t take it too seriously. The pieces are simple at first glance, but the longer you look, the more you notice: the weight of the proportions, how the colors are used, how nothing’s overworked. It’s clean, but not cold. You can tell they had fun making these. Based in Turkey, the studio works across cabinets, tables, chairs, and a few in-between objects that don’t land in obvious categories. There’s a pet house, a valet stand, a record cabinet. Even the ping pong table has storage built into it. The language stays consistent throughout—rounded edges, powder-coated finishes, cutout details—but the personality shifts from piece to piece. Some are playful, some are quiet, but all of them feel considered.
Color plays a big role. The palette is punchy but not loud—muted greens, bold reds, deep yellows—applied in solid blocks, sometimes across whole surfaces, sometimes just in small accents. Each piece can be customized in one of ten colors, but nothing looks like it’s trying to match a trend. It’s more about giving the object a clear identity. The materials are just as direct: metal, wood, canvas, sometimes a little perforation or a matte finish. Nothing precious. Nothing decorative for the sake of it. Some of the best pieces in the collection are the most unexpected. Persona, for example, is a bookshelf with a cut-out shaped like a skull—not in a cartoonish way, just enough to make you look twice. Pose is a valet stand shaped like a standing figure. Tipi is a minimal dog shelter that looks more architectural than domestic. These aren’t meant to blend in. They’re objects that make you smile a little and still do their job.
There’s a strong modular logic running through the storage pieces. Cabinets have sliding doors. Shelves are built with open and closed sections. Dimensions feel thought through—nothing oversized, nothing fragile. It’s the kind of collection that could sit easily in a home, a studio, or even a commercial space without needing to adapt much. The design already does the adjusting. Overall, the 2025 collection doesn’t come with a manifesto, and it doesn’t need one. The ideas are clear in the work: good lines, good color, and just enough edge to keep things interesting. Images courtesy of onn CONCEPT.
