A cutting-edge music system made for both audio and design lovers.

A family-owned company established in 1985 by a father and son team, Ruark Audio has transformed over the years into a well-known brand that values audio quality as much as it celebrates good design. The new R5 High Fidelity music system exemplifies Ruark’s approach to audio products perfectly. Inspired by mid-century modern design, this elegant system looks fantastic anywhere. It features clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic that enhances the textures of the materials further. The cabinet comes in two options; both the rich walnut veneer and the smooth gray lacquer complement the textured gray grille fabric.

Inside the beautifully crafted cabinet, R5 features Class A-B amplifiers with a high capacity linear power supply. This ‘all-in-one’ music system comes with two Ruark Audio 75mm full-range drivers and an integrated active subwoofer with a 125mm driver. Adjustable bass and treble settings along with enhanced 3D sound processing ensure superior audio quality. The R5 High Fidelity system is also multi-room ready. Features include an aptX HD Bluetooth receiver as well as WiFi and wired connections. Thus, the user has easy access to internet radio and to all the popular online music services. R5 has both analog and digital inputs along with a multi-format CD player.

A custom app provides access to the controls via a smartphone or tablet, but the music system also has a RotoDial control with an intuitive ‘click to select’ design. The high contrast OLED display provides a crystal-clear view of the large format clock. Launching this spring, the R5 High Fidelity music system will cost around $1,300 and will be available online and through selected retailers. Photographs© Ruark Audio.
