The iconic motorcycle brand launches its first electric bicycle. Following on the footsteps of Harley-Davidson’s…
As more and more urban dwellers ditch their four-wheel modes of transportation for two-wheel rides, electric bicycle manufacturers have started to notice. Over the years, companies have expanded their offerings to provide practical solutions both for passionate cyclists and first-time buyers alike. Designed to offer assistance for longer distances or help on steep inclinations in the middle of busy cities, e-bikes have become more popular than even before. And they’re available in a huge range of designs, with a variety of features to please any urban commuter or the occasional bike rider. It’s no wonder that electric bike news often make cycling fans happy.
In the last few years, electric bike news have introduced practical bikes as well as bolder designs. In the former category, one can find folding bikes which the user can easily carry around a flight of stairs and store in a compact apartment with ease. Other e-bikes have various cargo features. Going to the farmer’s market, making a school run, or taking the weekend off to go camping are all easier now thanks to functional cargo e-bikes.
Classic or modern, timeless or distinctively futuristic, e-bikes offer something for every taste and preference. In great electric bike news, many companies work closely with designer studios to create the ultimate e-bike for urban riders and commuters. Of course, function also matters. Smart features and versatile designs that allows easy customization or upgrades have set a high mark in the industry. One that will no doubt be pushed ever higher by electric bicycle manufacturers in the quest to perfect their products. In the end, as more people become bike riders, everybody wins.
