There are many custom bike workshops that make gorgeous builds. Then there’s LA-based Hazan Motorworks. Founded by Max Hazan, who sees bikes as similar to paintings or sculptures, this workshop produces works of art. Hazan Motorworks custom builds often have flowing lines and elegant curves that complement sharp angles. This 1978 Turbo Ducati 860GT Racer is a perfect example. It blends creative design, style and craftsmanship to create a real head turner.

To complete the client’s request to turbocharge the bike, Hazan created a whole turbo system and then built the frame from scratch, using chromoly steel. Distinctive and functional at the same time, the frame now features Wilwood calipers with GSXR rotors, Magura controls and a rear 5.5″ Excel rim on a swing arm. The racer also comes with a Garrett GT15 turbo, a stainless steel exhaust and an electric oil system. The single shock absorber sits underneath the engine, maintaining the clean aesthetic of the motorcycle. Featuring dynamic lines and an elegant design, this Ducati looks almost to good to ride.
