The Ventus Modern Brass Ceiling Lamp

A creative lamp that brings an architectural element to minimalist lighting design.

Copenhagen-based brand Frama has made its mark in the world of high-end lighting design with minimalist products that combine simple geometry and function. Created in a collaboration with Danish designers Included Middle, Ventus joins the brand’s collection of contemporary lighting, bringing a sculptural accent to the understated Frama line. The Ventus modern brass ceiling lamp re-invents the traditional flexible cord as an architectural component that becomes a crucial part of the design instead of fading away into the background.

Made from solid brass, the tube features parts of various lengths. This allows the user to install the pendant light at two different heights. While gorgeous on its own, Ventus shines when installed in a pair of pendants at different levels. That way, the design’s sculptural concept has even more visual impact. The Ventus modern brass ceiling lamp features a brass tube as well as a matching bronze silicone cord. Thanks to the opal white glass shade, the LED bulb glows with a soft light. Frama will present Ventus at this year’s Milan Design Week, which takes place from April 8 to April 14, 2019. Photographs© Frama.
