Bicicleta Bar, Cheers to Bikes

View all 24 Photos

Check it out! A bunch of bicycle parts have scattered their way throughout the Bicicleta. Masterminds behind the fantastic madness of cyclist decor was a collaborative effort of the joint owner Stefan Ciobotaru and Alina Turdean. Cherished elements of classic models from back in the day, most of the pieces which are circa 1930 and purchased from Great Britain. Others originated from the mentionable Pegas, Romania’s long gone oldest and largest bike factory.  The collection fills the bar space with vintage appeal and entertaining twists on furnishings and art. Top all this with a unique menu, good drinks and a handful of friends and you’ve got yourself a great place to hang. Cheers to bikes!

I find a way to fearlessly provoke your senses and take you by the heart to whatever it is I’m writing about. My sweet spot is creative writing, but for the last 20 years I have been providing freelance content for publications on sustainability and green practices, design, architecture, fashion, and non-profit charity. Recently all wrapped up in producing my first book. I have bounced from NYC to Indianapolis, but my true home is a lovely small town in Central Pennsylvania where there’s a legit drive-your-tractor-to-school-day.
