Meet the first robotic lever espresso machine in the world.

Believing that making the perfect espresso should be accessible to all, Meticulous Home has designed an innovative machine that combines the precision and excellence of barista-made coffee with the convenience of an automatic brewing system. The Meticulous Espresso Machine is the world’s first robotic lever espresso maker, allowing coffee lovers to make the perfect cup with ease. Inspired by manual lever machines, this coffee maker automates flow, pressure and temperature to ensure users can pull immaculate espresso shots, every time. The unit features high-precision sensors and a powerful digital motor to offer ultimate control over the brewing process. At the same time, the design maintains that crucial part of a manual espresso making ritual, the pull.

Ten digital sensors monitor everything from water temperature and flow to pressure and the weight of the liquid in the cup thanks to a built-in Acaia-Powered scale. Consequently, the machine makes automatic adjustments to ensure perfect results. Users can weigh the coffee directly on the scale, with a digital screen showing the weight on the top screen. Additionally, the scale measures how much water flows through the coffee and adjusts the flow and quantity as needed. The Meticulous Espresso Machine works with either hot or room-temperature water, as it has an internal heating coil to get the water to the right temperature.

Channel your inner barista with custom espresso brewing profiles.

Users can also customize their machine’s brewing technique. They can choose from a series of classic espresso profiles or download custom profiles from barista experts. Plus, a separate app provides even more control, allowing users to create and share their own espresso brewing profiles.

The brand has also designed Meticulous Milk, for those who love lattes. Like the Meticulous Espresso Machine, this innovative product has senors that automate the pressure, temperature and water flow to create beautifully steamed and textured milk with the touch of a button. Additionally, Meticulous Milk has a manual feature.

Finally, both products are crafted to last. The company has engineered the espresso maker with long-lasting use in mind, which includes easy repairs and constant software updates. The design is also eco-friendly, as the machine uses only exact amounts of water and optimizes energy use.

First launched on Kickstarter, the Meticulous Espresso Machine received backing of almost $5 million against a goal of $20,000. The company also later launched the design on Indiegogo, where it has received over $5 million in backing. This second campaign has also led to the implementation of a series of backer-suggested improvements. Changes include removing the front button, removing visible screws for a more streamlined look, making the plug recessed, and enlarging the water cylinder. You can support the Indiegogo campaign and get the Meticulous Espresso Machine at $1,350 and Meticulous Milk at $250. Shipping starts in January 2024. Photography © Meticulous Home.
