The Minimalist Ollly Desk

An elegant and minimalist desk designed to keep your work space perfectly organized.

Blending a minimalist aesthetic with multi-functional design can lead to impressive results. Take the award-winning Ollly desk, for example. Designed by Pavel Vetrov for Ukrainian furniture brand Zegen, the desk is elegantly minimalist and extra-practical at the same time. It boasts clean lines as well as a slender profile, which means that it looks fantastic in any interior. The compact footprint also means that Ollly will fit even smaller home offices and studios.

The desk has tapered legs and a nicely sized top with a black varnish finish. In the center, the drawer opens silently and smoothly thanks to a special sliding system. The user can place a laptop, gadgets and other items inside the storage space. At both edges of the top, ergonomic grooves with a rounded form offer the perfect solution to keep small office supplies and stationery as well as writing and drawing tools close at hand.

Built-in slots make it easy to place a phone or a tablet in an upward position. Cut-outs in the top center of the desk provide a convenient way to keep wires and charging cables neat and organized. Made from particleboard lined with ash veneer, the desk comes in three sizes. The Ollly desk has received the Red Dot Award 2015. Photographs© Zegen.
