Model E – The World’s Lightest Electric Bicycle

View all 9 Photos

The sleek Model E made by Budnitz Bicycles opens up a new chapter in the e-revolution and will probably win over all of the cycling aficionados who haven’t considered going electric yet. As the lightest e-bike currently on the market, weighing under 30 lbs, Model E paves new ground not just in terms of construction but also in terms of design. It’s stylish and simple, boasting a timeless appeal that will be appreciated by those who love clean design and minimalism.

The frame is made from 3AL 2.5V titanium alloy, which is both as strong as steel and as light as aluminum. The heart of the bike is the Zehus Bike+ 250W electric rear hub, which is made in Italy. Sealed inside the polished aluminum hub, the motor, sensors, and 30V L-ion 160Wh battery provide an all-in-one e-assist solution of up to 15mph for a range of 20-100 miles. Bluetooth connectivity paired with the custom app offers access to various modes, the anti-theft lockdown feature and the power output. Built by hand and backed by an impressive 100-year warranty, Budnitz bicycles are not ordinary bikes, but expertly crafted and beautifully designed pieces meant to be passed down to the next generation. And now you can order your very own Model E to ride for a lifetime by going to the company’s website – prices start from $3,950. Photo credits: Budnitz Bicycles.
