Prop Collection by Benjamin Hubert for Moroso

View all 6 Photos

The Prop Collection of furniture, created by London-based designer Benjamin Hubert for the Italian company Moroso, includes an armchair, a coffee table, a side table, and a sofa. Developed in response to the studio’s research about what people find comfortable, the pieces are built on wooden frames and inlaid with plywood. The chair and sofa are also softened with aero-ply, upholstery, and a removable cover made by Innofa. The fabric resembles a quilt or a knit sweater, giving the pieces a colloquial feel that complements the simplicity and clean lines of the frame.
