The Seletti Monkey Chandelier

The beloved monkey lighting design, now in an even bolder version.

When it comes to creative lighting design, Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is in a league all of his own. His popular animal lamp series explores the relationship between man and nature while also offering a playful twist on classic lighting. Now, the designer has expanded the collection with an even bolder design. Made by avant-garde brand Seletti, the Monkey Chandelier features the same animal characters we know and love. Here, the three monkeys have “taken over” a traditional-style chandelier to brighten living spaces with their mischievous antics. Safe to say, the Monkey Chandelier is a perfect choice to make a room look memorable as well as fun.

The sculptural Monkey Chandelier comes in a White and Black version, both made of durable resin. In a similar way to the animal lamp collection, the monkey characters have a detailed texture that gives a “true to life” look to the design. The chandeliers feature five light bulbs that illuminate with a warm light. Recently announced, the design doesn’t yet have a launch date, but should be available soon. If you love the Monkey Lamp series or have a soft spot for quirky, fun design, bookmark this page. As soon as the chandelier is available, we’ll add a link to it in this piece so you can easily find it in the Gessato Design Shop. Photographs© Seletti.
