Playful designs that blend art and function, now with a modern white finish.

In the world of contemporary design, the need to create versatile products that complement a wider range of interiors and accommodate different tastes often leads to beautiful and simple but also bland designs. In the world of Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, “bland” is a completely foreign concept. Influenced by his background in art and theater and inspired by nature, the designer creates imaginative furniture, lighting, and home décor wih a dramatic twist. Any Marcantonio design can double as an art object. Consequently, a continuous collaboration with (r)evolutionary Italian brand came as a natural step. The creative partnership has led to the launch of some gorgeous designs, from the to Kintsugi tableware line to the Love in Bloom vase.

Following the first Sending Animals collection, Seletti has launched a new iteration of the same concept. Sending Animals in White features the same animal-shaped shipping containers that provide practical storage spaces, but in a fresh and bright finish. The furniture line comprises the familiar farm animals of the original series: Cow, Pig, and Goose. Each animal-shaped box has different features, but all of them are multi-functional.

Cow features a central drop-leaf desk as well as side shelves that make organizing a compact workspace easy. Likewise, Pig provides generous storage areas with multiple shelves and narrow compartements for books or smaller items. The most compact item in the series, Goose has sliding compartments; it also doubles as a chair or a side table. Like the original series, the collection is crafted to last with a wood build. Typical shipping labels appear on the white exterior, while a lush pattern covers the interior of the Cow box.
