The Volkswagen Legacy Lives On

View all 6 Photos

The classic heritage of the Volkswagen lives on as Franz-Josef Paefgen- former chief executive of Audi, Bentley and Bugatti – seeks to preserve and restore the VW bus. The Old-timers department of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles moved into a new 7,000 square-meter building in Hannover, Germany to conserve the history of these mid-20th century vehicles. Private owners can bring in their own VW’s for any degree of service while the department also works on their own vehicles.
