The Volterman Smart Wallet

We’ve entered an era where virtually any kind of product becomes smarter than the one before it. Even wallets have joined the party. But among other sophisticated designs, Volterman really impresses with its range of practical and cool high-tech features. Named “the world’s most powerful smart wallet,” it comes with a built-in powerbank which allows the user to charge a phone both wirelessly or via a cable.

In terms of safety features, the wallet scores high marks. It offers RFID protection, has a global GPS system, and a handy anti-theft camera. When in ‘lost mode’ the tiny camera takes a picture of whoever opens the wallet and sends it to the owner. A Bluetooth Alarm System notifies the user if Volterman – or the phone – is left behind on a restaurant table or at home in the morning, while a worldwide WiFi hotspot ensures that the owner has access to internet while traveling.

With all these features, one might expect the wallet to either be heavy or bulky. Yet Volterman maintains a classic profile with a thin and lightweight design. Made of the Nappa or vegan leather, the wallet boasts contrasting stitching and an attractive, debossed logo. Launched on Indiegogo, the campaign shattered its original goal. Not by two or three times, but by over 15. And keep in mind that it still has a few more days to go, at the time of writing. Photographs© Volterman.
