A minimalist flipper pocket knife crafted in the USA to last a lifetime.

Portland-based The James Brand specializes in everyday carry gear and knives that blend minimalist design and premium materials with thoughtfully implemented details. With The Wells, the company expands its collection with the first flipper design. Proudly designed and crafted in the USA, the knife is as durable as it is versatile. Then name refers to the thousands-of-years-old Wells arrowhead found in Cherokee County, Texas, creating a poetic link between the tools of the past and present. Blending form and function with ease, The Wells features a Wharncliffe-style blade made from MagnaCut steel. Apart from resisting corrosion, the MagnaCut steel is also extremely tough and durable.

The aerospace-grade heat-treated aluminum handle features a handy button lock that allows one-handed operation as well as fast deployment. Other features include stainless steel caged ball bearings that ensure a smooth blade movement for a lifetime. Additionally, the knife comes with a stainless steel wire clip to keep The Wells secure in a pocket and easily accessible. Available in two colors, this flipper pocket knife comes in anodized aluminum with a stonewashed blade, or in an all-black version with a long-lasting DLC coating on the blade. The design is not only perfect as an everyday carry, but it’s also great for activities like camping. Made in limited quantities, The Wells costs $425 and you can find it in The James Brand online store. Each knife comes with an elegant black box and 100% recyclable packaging.
