Minimalist and elegant, the Blomus Yua outdoor furniture collection transforms gardens and terraces into stylish lounge and dining spaces.
Through their award-winning studio, Kaschkasch, German designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider continuously explore the interplay between minimalism, beauty and function to create refined furniture, lighting, and other objects for international brands. With the Blomus Yua outdoor furniture collection, the duo proposes and elegant and versatile solution to create the perfect lounge or dining space in a garden or on a terrace. The name translates from Japanese to “companion” or “to connect”, alluding to the collection’s concept of bringing people together and to the way the different designs work perfectly alongside one another. While developed for outdoor areas and exposure to the elements, the collection features softly rounded forms and curved lines reminiscent of indoor furniture. The range comprises Yua chair and table designs, all available in two versions: flat steel and wire steel.

The Yua furniture range comprises a dining table and two smaller bistro-style tables, as well as dining chairs, lounge chairs, side tables, and a bench. While the chairs come with or without armrests, the tables feature round or rectangular tops. Every piece features a tubular steel frame and subtly curved seating and backrests. Apart from a flat steel version, the Yua chair designs also come in wire options that add a sense of lightness and transparency to this minimalist outdoor furniture range. The different designs provide an easy way to create a welcoming dining space for al fresco meals or a comfortable lounge area for relaxing in the sun.
Made from galvanized steel, the pieces of outdoor furniture boast a durable and weather-proof powder-coated finish. Blomus offers the Yua outdoor furniture collection in two colors: Silk Gray and Granite Gray. The neutral hues not only look fantastic in any space and décor, but also complement each other perfectly, offering the option to mix and match pieces. Separate cushions add even more comfort to the Yua chairs and armchairs. Made with a dense foam core, the cushions feature a non-slip surface underneath. Plus, they come with water-repellent and weather-resistant fabrics that are also resistant to UV to stay looking like new for longer. Additionally, the Yua furniture range has a convenient stacking design that allows users to stash away pieces with ease and save storage space.
