“Day Without Meat” by Animal Equality

View all 10 Photos

Grotesque and shocking, Animal Equality presents human meat, fresh packaged from the butcher. They are a group that strive to, “achieve equal consideration and respect for animals, and the abolition of animal slavery.” On the “Day Without Meat” in Barcelona, Spain this international non-profit animal defender dressed models in nude undergarments covering them with fake blood and a plastic wrapping.  Their purpose was to raise awareness encouraging people to stop eating meat.  Certainly an eyebrow raising event, and I think most of us can agree “point taken”.
