A limited-edition chiming watch inspired by vintage pocket watches.
Launched to celebrate MeisterSinger’s 20th anniversary, the exclusive Edition Bell Hora watch has an elegant design with a vintage twist. The timepiece draws inspiration from vintage watches and also features a chiming feature. Originally introduced in spring 2021, the Red Dot Design award-winning Bella Hora watches produce a metallic chime at the top of each hour, letting the wearer know the exact time by sound. However, a simple switch pusher right above the crown at the 2 o’clock mark renders the timepiece completely silent, when needed. Referencing old pocket watches, the Edition Bell Hora features a white dial with a distinctive needle-shaped hand and double-digit numerals.
Both the fine line markers and the light blue spiral that represents the passage of time throughout one day give a structured look to the design. Made with a stainless steel case that measures 43mm, the Edition Bell Hora watch also features a domed sapphire crystal. The exhibition case gives a clear view of the Swiss MS Bell automatic movement based on a Sellita SW 200. Gathering power over the course of 60 minutes, the chiming module strikes the sound fork behind the dial every hour. The watch also features a leather strap with a pin buckle. Limited to only 100 pieces, the MeisterSinger Edition Bell Hora watch costs €3,690, or around $4,300. The German brand will launch the anniversary design in September 2021.
