The stunning office of an architecture and interior design studio.
Designed as a “place to share and create”, the second office of Barcelona-based Meritxell Ribé – The Room Studio impresses with its blend of work and leisure areas. The architecture and interior design studio built a space that inspires and encourages experimentation. Unsurprisingly, this coworking space design located in the Eixample district has a distinctive aesthetic and charm. Different elements connect separate areas in creative ways while also infusing the interior with character. The ground floor features an airy look and feel. After stepping inside, clients see a blue pool and a tree before walking alongside artworks which face an exposed brick wall. This small art gallery leads towards a lounge area filled with natural light and to an interior courtyard.
A staircase connects the ground floor to the upper level, while nearby bookshelves offer storage space for books or files. An office and a meeting room complete the coworking space design. Throughout the interior, rustic wooden surfaces and textured surfaces appear alongside carefully selected furniture and decorative elements, as well as artworks, industrial décor accents, or traditional tiles. An eclectic and refined wonderland of creativity. Photographs© Meritxell Ribé – The Room Studio.
