The Seletti Cactus Sunrise Lamps

A creative lamp series that brightens living spaces in more ways than one.

Sculptural and artistic, the work of Italian designer Marcantonio often references the relationship between man and nature with a playful approach to contemporary design. The Cactus Sunrise collection is a great example. Created for renowned Italian brand Seletti, this lighting collection aims to bring a touch of nature and brightness into modern interiors. In true Marcantonio style and similarly to his previous mouse and monkey lamp series, the Cactus Sunrise lamps have a realistic appearance that offers a fun twist on classic lighting design.

Shaped like a cactus, the lamps also come with cement bases designed to look like ceramic planters. The handmade glass boasts light dots that reference cactus spines, with flowers “in bloom” also added for an authentic touch. Each handcrafted lamp is one-of-a-kind and looks like a fun decorative object even when not in use. However, turning on the light brings the glass sculptures to life. As the light bulb illuminates the cactus from within, it enhances the intricate patterns and textures further. The Cactus Sunrise series includes three table lamp designs, in three different sizes and with different colors. Photographs© Seletti.
