The Iosco Lake House by Resolution 4 Architecture

View all 18 Photos

The sparkling waters of the Iosco Lake offer views to residents of a home located nearby where surreal comforts and an abundance of openness to the lusciously green environment can sooth inhabitants year round. Only 45 minutes away from the bustling island of Manhattan, this New Jersey home is a true escape to reprise and restoration. Resolution 4 Architecture designed the two-story home as close to the lake as zoning laws could permit. This long house has decks to the east and to the west where exposure of the gorgeous sunrise and sunset can come with ease. The entrance begins with the east deck that leads up to a small set of stairs traced by a concrete wall that’s split with acrylic cylinders. After transmitting sunlight during the day, the acrylic cylinders have motion sensors that create backlit constellations at night.
